We Mill It Ourselves
Purnima Feeds is a feed mill, not a repackager. Formulation and milling happen in the same place, in Panglima Garang, Klang, which is why a ration can be changed for one farm without waiting on an importer.
Our base ingredients are premium imported wheat pollard flakes, maize, palm kernel expeller and rice bran, selected against what is genuinely available locally rather than against a formula written for another country.
Formulated for Your Animals, Not for a Catalogue
Breed, age, climate, what forage you already have and what you are trying to achieve all change the right answer. We work with farmers and producers directly to build a workable formulation and a complete animal nutrition mix for their livestock.
We are cost conscious and we will not compromise quality to get there. The saving comes from a balanced diet where nothing is wasted, matched to the animal's physiological stage and target production level.

How do you formulate your animal feed formulations?
Every formulation is built from the animal backwards: species, breed, physiological stage, the forage already available on your farm, and the production level you are aiming at.
The research, studies and farm data we have accumulated working with animal farmers in Malaysia and overseas are what let us do that quickly and cost-effectively rather than by trial and error on your herd.
What is your base product in your animal feed ingredients?
It depends on the animal and the nutrients it needs. As custom feed developers we generally build on premium imported wheat pollard flakes, maize, palm kernel expeller and rice bran.

Do you use antibiotics for growth in your animal feed?
No. We use natural alternatives in our animal feed nutrients, which is better for the animal and keeps the farm clear of residue problems that can affect what you are able to sell.
